Roman Travertine (Classic Ivory)
Roman Travertine is a chemical sedimentary rock composed primarily of calcium carbonate, formed in the Acque Albule Basin near Tivoli, Italy, through the deposition of minerals from rich waters. It typically exhibits a homogeneous light beige to cream color with subtle streaks and a characteristic porous or vacuolar structure, which can be filled or left open. The color variations can range from milky white to straw yellow, influenced by oxides and impurities during its formation.

- Maintenance
- Travertine is a calcareous stone that is susceptible to acid etching and requires regular sealing (every 6-12 months for high-traffic areas) to protect against stains and moisture. Use impregnating sealers that penetrate the stone. When installing, ensure all cut edges are sealed before applying adhesive to prevent seam staining.
