Indiana Limestone, technically known as Salem Limestone, is an oolitic sedimentary stone formed approximately 300 million years ago from marine organisms. The variegated variety is characterized by a natural mix of buff and gray tones, with individual stones potentially displaying both colors or being solid buff or gray.
