Carrara White Marble
Carrara White Marble is a metamorphic rock primarily composed of calcite, formed from limestone deposited in a warm tropical sea during the Jurassic Period. It recrystallized under intense heat and pressure in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany, Italy. Its color ranges from white to blue-grey, with subtle to dramatic grey veining, influenced by impurities like pyrite, iron oxide, and muscovite.
