What type of mortar is recommended for natural thin stone veneer products?
Type-S mortar (ASTM C270) or polymer-modified mortar should be used for natural stone veneer products. For tight-fitting applications like Ledgestone or Dimensional Ledgestone, thinset mortar (ANSI 118.4 or 118.15) is recommended.
