What is the initial step for applying natural thin stone veneer on a wall?
Begin installation at the bottom of the wall. It is helpful to install a temporary ledge, typically 1/2 inch above the floor for interiors or 4 inches above grade for exteriors, to create a level starting point and aid in installation speed. Horizontal chalk-lines every 12-16 inches are also beneficial.
